Where am I going?

My current job is as the Zoning Administrator for the Town of Brattleboro. I enjoy knowing what is going on in Town, and guiding development projects. I've been with the Town for seven years, starting first as the Deputy Zoning Administrator. I've been involved in Town government most of my life; one of my earliest memories is following my father, the Sewer Commissioner, around to construction sites. I have also been an elected Lister for over 12 years in the Town of Marlboro.

I think most of us are in Marlboro's computer program because we want to do something different job-wise, and I am looking forward to a time when both my husband and I move into our second careers. I'd like to do something that is portable, not tied to a particular place, and something that offers greater creativity. Website Design may be the path I choose. My husband is also making a career change, from police work to ministry. When the children leave home, the parents get to play.

My immediate goal is to learn how people use websites, and find out what new internet tools will be used. I'd like to become familiar with various tools so that I can use them, and I can help others to use them also.
